Happy May!

It's beautiful in San Diego. If you don't live here, I can feel your jealousy as you read this first sentence. We can still be friends right?



So here's the big announcement... I HAVE A BRAND NEW SONG THAT WILL BE RELEASED MAY 30TH!!!! "Love Again" was recorded and mixed/mastered about a month ago, and we've been waiting for the movie that it is in to be released! (It's called Bad Faith... If you live near Sacramento, or will be in the area on the 28th of May, let me know, and I'll get you tickets to the screening!)



If you live in San Diego, you'll be able to hear it on any of the local music stations that weekend. (91x, Sophie 103.7, Rock 105.3, and FM 94/9) Hope you can tune in!



But even if you don't live in America's Finest City, you are going to be one of the first to hear the song, (Because you are on the mailing list...AND because you're wicked hot!!!) I'll post it a day early here on the reverbnation site, and send you a reminder!



This song was made possible because of donations from you guys, and I really appreciate all of the support. I'm still raising money for my new album, and if you didn't know, I've been writing a song a day to try to get enough material. Hey Guys,



I hope that all is going well for you! The band and I have been working hard at writing new songs for the new album, getting new sponsors and taking some time off to focus on family things. I must say that this is an exciting time for me and there are a lot of great things going on behind the scenes. I've been writing about 2 to 3 songs a week, and throwing away even more! :-D



Wanted to share my heart with you for just one second. For those of you who have seen me in concert, you've seen me play the song, "Saves the Day" and talk about my brother's situation in Iraq. Friday, Nathan was sentenced to 6 years in jail for a crime that was committed while he was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Combat Stress. It's a very difficult time for our family, and I appreciate all the prayers and support that we've received. It's a COMPLETELY unflattering photo of me... but as alot of you know, I've been trying to lose weight, and have lost 15 pounds!!! (go me...) :-D



I've only got a few shows booked, and they are mostly just festivals in which I was already committed. If you can come to a show, that would be great!



I hope to talk to you all soon, and have some brand spanking new music to show off! Please continue to write me, and let me know how you're doing. I always need encouragement. (I can't get enough!!!) You will seriously never know how many times I've cried over a kind letter or e-mail. While I'm a badass... I'm still a softie... :-D
